Carter is getting that much closer to being 1 and it is definitely showing. The past week was full of little man growing up.
At daycare, Carter has moved off all bottles and now only takes the sippy cup. He still gets two bottles at home but we will be transitioning off of those over the next few weeks. On the speaking front, Carter has gotten his "Ma-Ma" down. He will babble it over and over. Carter has also been working on his wave. He is ok at it but according to Daycare he waves all the time at the other parents. I'm not sure what to make of that =)
Carter's food repertoire has found a new favorite... Mac and Cheese. We are very quickly getting to the end of our baby food stash so we have been trying to feed Carter small bites of whatever we are having for dinner. Pasta has been his recent fav but anything we have given him has been a hit. Carter is a bona fide expert at cruising and can get around the whole house when we wants to. He likes crawling on everything and will even stand on his own for a while until he realizes he isn't holding onto anything. He still loves to turn the pages of his books and play with all his musical instruments.
Daycare has even tought him "up and down" where he will bounce on his legs over and over. All in all it was a great week with our litte guy and furry family.
