Sunday Funday!

This Sunday was a special day for Carter as it was the King Valley Easter Celebration. Per usual, our neighborhood association put on another great holiday celebration for the neighborhood kids, and Carter was able to have fun with all of it. Carter knew that something was up when he saw the signs at the front of the clubhouse drive.
We started our celebration by taking the required Happy Easter photos
Then it was off to scope out the activities to see what we would do first.
Carter decided to bite the bullet first and take his first Pony Ride Now for the action shots (Dad grabbed his shirt, but he actually kept himself upright using the saddle horn).

After our ride on the pony, it was off to the Petting Zoo. First up was a cute little piggy hanging out in a wagon.

We then found a sweet little lamb that didn't mind Carter or Dad's petting

Then we saw our first ever rooster (they don't even have these at the Zoo!) The cow was very gentle

Although we were having a lot of fun playing with the animals, Carter knew what he was there for, getting some Easter Eggs... unfortunately Carter got a little anxious and started grabbing any egg he could find!

Mom helped Carter find where the eggs were for the Easter Egg Hunt

After some brief directions provided by the Easter Bunny...

We were off!!!

It was a mad house.... but Carter quickly found his spot, one that was stocked with lots of eggs

After finding a full dozen eggs, it was time to head back home, but not before a quick photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny!

We are looking forward to a fun weekend coming up and more easter egg hunts to come
