The Week with Mom and the Boys

The week started out a little rough for Carter....
We had a really fun day planned Monday with Carey and Charlie at the zoo.  Unfortunately it coincided with a 24 hour stomach bug.  Monday was rough but he woke up at Tuesday morning at 2am wanting pancakes.  So by Tuesday evening, Carter was ready for an evening with the Food Trucks.
We had another exciting play-date planned for Wednesday with Carrie and Caitlyn at Fernbank.  The kids had a great time!  Caitlyn was a great hostess and showed Carter all around.  Mom tried to get a few pictures but toddlers don't stay still long enough for that.
Parker on the other hand was a little easier to capture.
Thursday we had another play-date with one of Carter's new friends from preschool.  And we went to the library where Carter checked out his first book (Rooster's Off to See the World by Eric Carle).  We spent the rest of the week having a blast!
The weather was great so we spent a lot of time outside...
Parker won't stay in one place these days.  He loves chasing the dogs who are on his level.  He is also doing more crawling on all fours but he still prefers the army style.
The boys also had a music lesson.  They love helping dad play the guitar!
And Carter had fun in art class...
We did some "ball" painting using golf balls, washable paint and a shoe box lid.
And there was lots of playing around.  Parker prefers to be on the move these days so he hates being confined in his exercauser but Carter still has fun in it.
Overall the boys (and their parents) had a great week!
