Then it was time to get ready for the zoo. Carter was SUPER excited!
We dressed Carter up in his dinosaur outfit and headed out. The Zoo was all decked out for the holiday.
And Carter looked pretty cute in his outfit.
We took some time to introduce Carter around and he made a few new friends.
Soon he found our first Trick or Treat spot. Luckily we got in and out before Carter could grab the guy's hair!
As a zoo regular, Carter took the time to tell everyone around him all about the cool things to see. Seriously, he talked loudly for like and hour. He was waiving his hands while giving his proclamations and generally amusing everyone around us.
We tried to get him to focus back on the animals....
But he just wanted to talk to everyone!
We got a little sad when he didn't think anyone was listening =(
Luckily we found another Trick or Treat spot where Carter could entertain the ladies.
We also found a lion photo op where Carter acted like a ham and smiled at everyone until a crowd developed. He was thrilled!
The Zoo has Halloween decorations everywhere. I think they will still be finding them when they put out the eggs for Easter.
Carter chatted most of the afternoon until it was time to leave. Needless to say, it was a great second trip to the Zoo.
