Sunday at the Zoo

The weather was so nice this weekend and Carter loved being outside Saturday so we decided to pack up the family and head to the zoo.

Our first stop was the flamingos, where Carter was too distracted to smile for the picture.

We then hit up the brand new Parakeet Aviary. It was the coolest aviary we had seen before simply due to the number of birds they had.

They even had snack sticks to feed the birds with. Carter was fascinated seeing the birds up close.

After the birds, we headed to see the Meerkats. They were pretty cute but not as cute as Carter the Meerkat.

Carter loves watching the big animals move around and listening to them make noises.After seeing the lions, tigers, bears and even a few snakes, Carter was exhausted. So it was time to head home.

It was a a fun family outing and I'm sure we will be back very soon!
