Saturday in Madison

After our long day of activities through the city, Saturday was looking to be a much more relaxed affair as the whole family (Great Grandma and Grandpa West, Aunt Patty, Aunt Laura, Uncle Rick, and Cousin Brian) was coming to Grandma and Grandpa's for brunch and football. To get ready though, we needed some fresh veggies and headed to a local farmer's market early in the morning. Unfortunately, a cold spell hit Wisconsin and the morning temp was hovering in the upper 30's, luckily we had planned for some cold weather and Carter was up for the market.

While perusing the farmer's market, we found some lovely flowers for Grandma's Birthday. It was Carter's first time giving a gift! After the market, Grandma and Grandpa decided to take
Nugget for a long walk prior to the guest
s coming over. Mom and Dad were not up to the challenge, but Carter was game and he was off!

Then it was time to meet the extended family. We all had a great time and Carter had plenty of people to play with:

After the party, it was time to watch some Georgia Tech Football. It was a nerve racking game, but the Jackets pulled it off. Carter was very interested in the game, then headed off to bed.
