Busy, Busy, Busy Weekend

It was a super busy and super fun weekend at the Holden House. The whole family headed down to Georgia Tech bright and early Saturday morning for some Homecoming festivities.
Carter sported his GT best and added in some love for the local cuisine.
We then sat and watched the end of Carter's first parade.
We then hit up the bookstore where Carter tried on a potential future hair do. What do you think?
We then headed back to the Sigma Chi house and tailgated until it was game time. Grammie picked up Carter and mom/dad headed off to the game. It was a great GT victory! After we rushed home to but on our finest duds and we were off to a fabulous engagement party for the future Mr and Mrs Luker (aka Bryan and Julie!). It was so much fun to catch up with the high school girls and celebrate a wonderful couple!

We couldn't get enough of the happy couple so we woke up the next morning and headed over to the Smith's to check out their amazing Halloween decorations. They made the perfect backdrop for a rare family picture.
Carter loved hanging out with Mrs. Julie. She was such a natural! Can't wait to see little Luker's one day!Much to Carter's delight we ran into the Junker's as we were heading out. It's so much fun to see babies together. Carter and Julian talked for a while about their cool Halloween outfits, Carter especially wanted to know where Julian got the awesome Monkey suit. They then showed off their standing skills. Carter even grabbed Julian's hand to help balance. It was quite cute.
After all the fun activity, Carter was worn out. So he curled up with dad for an afternoon nap and some football watching.

It was such a fun weekend. We loved seeing all our friends!
